Production Specialist

Job Description:Vision Systems is looking for a talented Production Specialist within the Wafer and Focal Plane Processing Department.The successful Production Specialist must demonstrate a safety first work routine, have a proficient understanding of the technical aspects associated with his/her assigned process and the ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues.The individual needs to be able to coordinate work flow with co-workers and effectively communicate with engineering and management.Participation in cross training activities is required.Routine work is performed with minimal supervision.Working hours for this position will be standard day shift (630AM-3PM) for training period (6 months), and then will hours will stagger to 9AM-530PM once necessary certifications have been acquired.The individual in this position will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of the wafer deposition processes.Duties include operation of vacuum area equipment (evaporation, sputter, dry etch).A critical skill set is the ability to work with computers in order to follow the written instructions, track WIP, document required data, perform SPC and operate the equipment.Attention to detail and the ability to follow written work instructions is mandatory.Mechanical aptitude, the ability to work in a class 100 cleanroom and the flexibility to work overtime or weekends to meet the factory’s needs are also required.Required SkillsMinimum 6 years’ experience (including vacuum deposition experience) along with a high school diploma.Ability to work safely with various processing equipment, chemicals and raw production materials.Able to accurately read and follow detailed equipment operating and product process specific instructions.Intermediate computer skills, ability to accurately record process parameters, strong interpersonal communication skills.Ability to handle delicate hardware.Desired SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.Required EducationHigh School Diploma or GED166670Raytheon is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
