DescriptionAs a Flexo Tissue Operator you will…
Check for all materials needed to produce the next scheduled job. Plates, color key, previous sample if repeat job, Spec sheet, inks, and waterproof.
Determine sequence of printing sleeves, and anilox rolls.
Note: Steps 1 and 2 above should be completed during the job you are currently printing.
Loading sleeves and roll stock onto the machine.
Proper set-up and clean-up of chambered doctor blade units.
Make machine adjustments as required, including printing station, unwind and rewind tensions and dryer section.
Make Color correction to formulas and dispense ink using the Nova Flow unit.
Check and monitor solid color reproduction using the spectrodensitometer.
Power down and lock out machine to safely clear jam-ups.
Maintain continuous check to ensure product quality and accuracy.
Report all material and rejected material, product labor data for work center as required.
Check that all guards and safety devices are in place and functioning before operating the machine.
Check and replace doctor blades, seals, hoses and any other wear parts on the machine as needed.
Recognize machine problems and communicate with maintenance as necessary.
At the completion of each job, clean each deck and chamber thoroughly. Wash printing plates before returning to mounting area.
Cleaning anilox rolls as needed in the micro-clean unit.
Cleaning ink spills off the machine & floor, doing general house cleaning on a daily basis.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

High School or better
ExperiencePreferred
3-5 years: Provide at least 3 years work experience
Manufacturing experience preferred
