We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to join our growing team and drive the digital communication, collaboration, interaction experience roadmaps for both employees and customers. The role will regularly interact with business stakeholders and executive management. This role also requires excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, detail orientation, ability to work both in a team environment and independently and have the ability to solve complex problems are key success factors.This position requires a strong understanding of user-interface (UI), cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards and experience in planning and delivering software platforms. This role is responsible for designing, coding, modifying and coordinating the Company’s Internet and Intranet websites, from layout to function and according to the specifications based on Cantel’s global digital strategy. The goal is to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. This role will also be responsible for identifying the resources required for projects often including selecting and managing external vendors.

Develop the Company’s external and internal Global Digital Strategy.

Provide functional leadership for the Information Technology operations that support internal and external communication, collaboration, interaction.

Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders associated with internal and external communication, collaboration and interaction.

Develop a deep understanding of business strategy and user needs

Partner with business leaders on formulation and execution of digital strategy, vision, product roadmap.

Understand and apply new trends and competitive standard methodologies into product roadmap and requirements.

Drive rapid iteration, testing and change to deliver on business goals and KPIs.

Ensures adoption of communication, collaboration, interaction tools worldwide.

Recommends strategies to streamline systems for effectiveness and efficiency, considering employee and customer needs, team dynamics, and division/segment/region mission.

Define and evolve the methodology and tools for digital teams.

Gathering and synthesizing user needs and product requirements from a variety of sources.

Create consensus with other functions as to the timing of various solution implementations and withdrawals

Identifies and leverages IT synergy potentials across Divisions, countries and functions

Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate on shared efforts

Collaborate with Business Systems, Infrastructure and Operations to ensure digital product solution capability with company standards

Contribute leadership to successful implementation of projects, especially large enterprise systems as well an ongoing releases

Continually focus on opportunities to improve internal processes

Skills

Proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product vision, strategy and roadmap.

Demonstrated ability to build products by driving user research and incorporating consistent user feedback into product enhancements.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and manage small to large projects in a cross-functional, global environment

Strong relationship and management skills – must possess the ability to interface and influence all levels of the organization across functional and geographic boundaries. Must be able to effectively present information, persuade and respond to questions from various stakeholders

Industry experience in the digital workplace collaboration space including but not limited to team collaboration tools, enterprise social, enterprise search, digital assistance, usage analytics.

Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and be adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Superior organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to achieve results through influence and persuasion

High degree of professionalism and an approach that promotes progress through teamwork in a collaborative environment. Dynamic personality that is not afraid to challenge others in a professional manner.

Team leadership and influence skills to ensure alignment and focus on Company and Department objectives

Strong management skills – experienced in prioritizing, organizing, planning and executing large-scale IT projects from vision to implementation involving internal resources, contractors and vendors. Ability to analyze project needs and determine appropriate resources required to meet objectives

Experience/EducationThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years business experience within their specific Functional Area (digital product focused on internal and external communication, collaboration, interaction) and 3+ years of Management experience.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not required.

Proven ability to create websites/a website using standard HTML/CSS practices

HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript

Server architecture

Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET

Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle

Ability to research and evaluate various software programs to ensure website/internet/intranet sites are consistent with industry practice

Must be able to maintain accessible software documentation

Ability to develop contingency plans in case the website goes down

Ability to maintain and expand/enhance the websites once built #CB
