Position reports to the Production Supervisor or the Store Manager. The Production Assistant is responsible for supervision of the Production Department in the absence of the Production Supervisor or Store Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist the Production Supervisor/Store Manager in the day to day floor operation of his/her assigned departments.

Monitor employees in the department, making sure each employee is doing assigned job correctly.

Oversee pricing and allocating for department as necessary.

Complete and turn in daily production reports.

Work to maintain good employee morale and discipline in the department.

Supervise entire production Department in absence of the Production Supervisor/Store Manager.

Learn and carry out all functions of the Production Supervisor/Store Manager.

Good eye sight and hearing.

Must stand, lift and work at least 8 hours per day.

Must consistently use good people skills with all levels of personnel and clients.

Carry out established organizational and departmental policies as described in the Employee Handbook in the absence of the Production Supervisor/Store Manager.

Ensures 2 textile audits are completed per textile hanger per day and all other processed racks are counted and tracked on the appropriate paperwork.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Follow the dress code and wear designated identification as provided.Do bag checks whenever an employee leave the building.SPECIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED.

Learn all jobs in department and train others to do those jobs.

Cope with the pressures of meeting production quotas.

Must have a sensitivity for, and understanding of the needs of persons with disabilities and/or persons with economically disadvantaging conditions.

Ability to walk constantly for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to reach and bend.

Ability to properly lift heavy objects.

Must have a valid driver's license, access to and ability to drive a vehicle, and proof of vehicle insurance.

Must be able to pass drug screen before receiving store keys and random drug tests thereafterResults of limited criminal history check must meet company standards.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Light industrial environment with significant textile dust as well as heat and humidity in some areas.
