Conduct research into current and emerging standards, techniques, and protocols that support internet of things technologies. Leverage tools to analyze the cybersecurity and privacy capabilities of internet of things devices and systems. Support the development of cybersecurity and privacy standards, guidelines, and reference implementations related to internet of things technologies including their use in critical infrastructures such as public safety communications. IT-related experience must demonstrate: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. IN ADDITION: To qualify, applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level (or ZP-II at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience planning, supporting the development of, and applying cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices to address identified cybersecurity and business needs; and experience supporting national and international cybersecurity programs and initiatives.OR3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeORPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeNOTE: Education and experience may be combined for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
