With changes in leadership, focused priorities and strong core values, PFH remains a “Good Family to Know!” Your role at PFH: As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you are responsible for applying the principles of accounting to perform complex data entry and related operations in posting accounts receivable payments. The Accounts Receivable Associate is also responsible for maintaining appropriate general ledgers and resolves account problems. You will:

Responsible for posting of all cash receipts company-wide, including those deposited by other locations.

Responsible for monitoring/review of Accounts Receivable accounts and activity and notifying management of any unusual activity, potential write offs, collection agency referrals, etc.

Works closely with insurance staff to facilitate collection of balances due.

Prepares supporting documentation for Accounts Receivable Aging reports monthly.

Generates Accounts Receivable statements for mailing monthly; responds to inquiries from clients/families regarding amounts due. Generates cycle of dunning letters to encourage timely payment.

Data entry of monthly revenue/account receivable amounts prior to month end close.

Reconciliation of assigned related general ledger accounts.

Demonstrates interest in long term and short term goals and objectives of the company.

We think you'd be great for this role if you have:

Graduate from an accredited school with a degree in Accounting; OR

At least three (3) years experience in an accounting position; AND

At least one (1) year experience with a computerized accounting system.
