Weapon System Business LeadTracking CodeHR9705Job DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following): Leads a program level acquisition analyst team, coordinating with multiple contracting commands and numerous original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Understand and oversee multiple contracts to include sole source, competitive full and open, supplies, services, firm-fixed price, cost, cost plus fixed fee, cost plus incentive fee, options, OTA, IDIQ, BOA, research and development, major ACAT 1 systems, and assistance services and production contracts. Serves as the acquisition adviser to program manager on acquisition contract regulations/laws, contracting approaches/strategies/objectives and recommends solutions to impediments to contract awards and post contract administration issues that could negatively impact contractor performance/schedule. Manage a multi-million dollar annual budget and is familiar with financial management regulations and the DoD PPBE process. Desired Qualifications
DAU Level III certification in Contracting
Knowledge of DOD 5000 and JCIDS process and tailoring methodologies
Ability to work in dynamic environment
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Excellent Organizational Skills
Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficiency in MS Office
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Required Experience
Experience working internal/external taskers
Minimum 5 years of DoD contracting experience
Experience developing information papers and decision briefings
Experience serving and managing mission/information demands of executive members of the Army or DoD staff
