Loan FunderProcess Associate - US58822BRLoan FunderProcess AssociateThe loan funder will review loan documents for completeness and accuracy, clarify any missing or questionable information, and work with appropriate parties on conditions. They will communicate with loan processors, underwriters, and third-party vendors regarding documentation needs and any necessary follow-up.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assume responsibility for providing effective support throughout the closing and post-closing process. Obtain and verify proper documentation to meet underwriting guidelines. Ensure FHA, VA, and Rural Housing mortgage loans are following investor and /or agency guidelinesEnsure that all information is accurate prior to funding, prepare outgoing wires to title companies to meet disbursement deadline. Fund and close loans.Ensure accuracy of broker fee sheet and secondary lock confirmationWork with escrow to balance statements post-closing and apply necessary tolerance curesShip loans to investors for purchase and work to meet investor purchasing deadlinesQualificationsBasicHigh School Diploma or GED EquivalentPreferredKnowledge of review and audit of loan documents and file prior to funding. Must be able to perform a complete thorough full audit for release of wire including but not limited to Title, DU/LP, CPL, LE and CDExperience working with MS OfficeKnowledge of the following Final 1003 review and addendums for FHA/VA loans; Final 92900, final 26-1802, Short review of Appraisal, Flood Cert, Sales Contract on Purchase loansAt least 1 year of experience in handling low complexity transactionsWorking knowledge of the mortgage loan process and basic knowledge of lending conceptsCommunication SkillsAnalytical skillsNote: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise).The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
