You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:Administration and ManagementCustomer ServiceDecision MakingFacilities Operations and MaintenancePlanning and EvaluatingSupply Support FOR GS-09 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in logistic support of supplies, equipment and services to improve facility operations of grounds and structure maintenance and repair work. Provide assistance with inventory list, hand receipts and maintain a log of suspense of work orders submitted from inception to completion. Assist with compliance of Government Purchase Program (GPC) and work orders request with the Department of Public Works (DPW). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. (Note: you must attach a copy of your transcripts.) . OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. FOR GS-11 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes building facility management program to include grounds and structure maintenance and repair work. Experience with facility maintenance and repair projects with Department of Public Works (DPW) and other contract services, solicit bids and quotes for performance of work within agency guidance. Provide logistic support of supplies, equipment and services in order to improve facility operations. Experience with government purchase card program, inventory lists, and hand receipts in order to monitor and control facility specific property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: with a major study in engineering, industrial arts, property management, or business administration. (Note: you must attach a copy of your transcripts.). OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Temporary promotions or reassignments, or change to lower grades may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and be made permanent without further competition. This position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 2 years. If the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.
