Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America’s first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. OVERVIEWThe SRDP (Sugar Rotational Development Program) Engineering Track is a unique opportunity for the right college graduates to gain professional experience in the Sugar Industry. We have experienced professional management to lead you in developing your skills and practical knowledge in your field. The SRDP is based largely upon an experiential approach to learning and development where the majority of participant development originates from on-the-job assignments. On-the-job learning is supplemented with targeted training opportunities and mentoring/coaching, primarily by the participant’s direct manager and various subject-matter-experts. Your opportunity to in a growth-oriented sugar business, will not be surpassed anywhere. GENERAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with quality and GMP requirements.

Ensure that all areas and equipment are maintained in good housekeeping condition.

Receive a general overview of the manufacturing operations

Work alongside Shift Supervisor(s), Mill Process and/or Production Supervisor(s)

Review technical reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly Energy/Water)

Mill Fabrication Process

Work with mill lab samples and reports pertaining to mill fabrication

Work alongside Human Resources with collective bargaining agreements; labour relations

Gain knowledge of Plant Maintenance and SAP

Must work well in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial/farming environment.

Available to work rotating shifts (7am – 3pm, 3pm -11pm and 11pm – 7am) and/or weekends

Be able to physically work in an industrial / farming environment

WORK EXPERIENCES

Minimum of 0 – 1 years of experience

Prior related internship experience preferred

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Understanding of Safety and Quality standards

Experience in a sugar industry or manufacturing environment preferred

Be legally eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical from an accredited college/university required.

GPA 2.5 or higher
