As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide end-to-end 'hands-on' project management of mid to large-scale cross-service line projects and be accountable for keeping projects on track and on budget with the appropriate foresight to proactively manage risks and escalate them when necessary. As a member of a larger team, you will need communication skills to ensure the team is equipped with everything they need to deliver work on time while maintaining internal productivity goals. This person will support the Accounts team in properly scoping out new business opportunities, working with the Traffic Manager on ongoing resourcing needs, and being the 'hub of the wheel' on all projects making sure resources are clear on deliverables and timelines.Working across multiple departments, this person is expected to proactively engage in the sharing of knowledge with the larger agency, and know when to pull in various department expertise to support project decision-making. With both internal and client-facing responsibilities, a marketing or agency background is essential as this role requires a working knowledge of digital marketing practices, tactics, technologies, and strategy. location: Charlotte, North Carolinajob type: Permanentsalary: $72,000 - 108,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:
Requirements- Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience with a digital agency background preferred and deep, working knowledge of project management tools is a must. All applicants must be certified through the Project Management Institute with their PMP Certification
- Responsible for ensuring projects and tasks are completed on time and within budget using several project management tools such as Mavenlink, Bugherd, and ADO.
- Continuously audit project management processes and suggest improvements
- Utilize process documents, tools, and trackers to support you in successfully managing projects
- Regularly communicate with the Executive Project Director to ensure projects are laddering up to the client's overarching goals and business objectives
- Proactively communicate when you foresee any potential project risks or concerns and work together to come up with a solution
- Translate tactical strategy into a task-based project plan focused on reaching client goals
- Lead and manage meeting notes, to be distributed internally and available for the Account Manager to share with the client.
- Ensure proper project documentation is being completed at every phase and evolves as needed
- Manage client expectations and ensure understanding of project status and project timeline at all times
- Work with a variety of resources across the agency, particularly within our Tech Department.
