We are seeking a Systems Support Specialist - IT - for Magpul, a firearms accessories production facility in Cheyenne.

As theSystems Support Specialist, you will provide day-to-day administration and maintenance of employee technical resources and will serve as the primary interface for employee related technical solutions.

Pay - $18-21/hr

1st shift - Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Respond to employee requests at our Cheyenne WY, facility for assistance with any and all technical issues – including system and hardware requests – including printers, RF Smart guns, Windows systems and Microsoft Windows server issues.

Day-to-day management of employee technical resources for the Cheyenne, WY facility including desktops, IP based telephone, printers and peripherals.

Assist with the enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

Make recommendations for the purchase of needed software and hardware.

Setup and disable user accounts in AD, Azure, and Enterprise systems as requested by HR/IT.

Assist the business analysts with maintaining bar code scanners.

Performance monitoring, to include analyzing system performance and suggest/implement tuning as needed.

Maintain inventory of all hardware equipment.

Responsible for new system set-ups for the Cheyenne, WY facility.

Assist with maintaining the access badge system, if required.

Assist the IT Resource/Network Administrator with monthly/quarterly server updates at the Cheyenne, WY facility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

6+ months’ experience supporting Windows and other Microsoft software packages.

Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

Ability to troubleshoot software errors and issues, and escalate as appropriate.

Ability to determine when issues are software or hardware related.

Ability to setup a PC and change out hardware when needed.

Ability to maintain printers/scanners.

Creativity, critical thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High sense of urgency and accountability.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting focuses and priorities.

Ability to take direction.

Ability to assist with government compliance monitoring and reporting.
