Dock/Warehouse Worker/Forklift operator

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for:

OPERATING A FORKLIFT EFFECTIVLY AND SAFELY.

Loading and unloading trucks of all sizes ranging from 53' semis to 24' box trucks and sprinter vans.

Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking of freight.

Efficiently organize freight of all kinds in the appropriate areas.

Prepares and stages skids for outbound shipments using different carriers.

Efficiently moves freight from staging and/or storage areas into outbound trucks and trailers.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must be forklift certified.

Prior experience working in a warehouse, performing similar functions.

Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. (team lifting required for anything over 50 lbs.)

Must have the ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety.
