Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional Information Technology experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in product architecture
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Object-Oriented, functional, and reactive design and development
  • Strong knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices for enterprise-level solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency and technical experience in:
    • Java

    • Angular
    • REST and SOAP Web Services

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Job Description

:Our client in Columbus is hiring a

Sr. Technical Architect for its Digital Transformation team. This is a permanent, direct, full-time position with our client, a well-known organization that serves the public sector. It is an exciting, senior-level opportunity. You will:
  • Define the principles that guide technical architecture decisions for the enterprise
  • Identify and research innovative new technology to improve organizational capabilities.
  • Evangelize the use of new technology solutions to drive necessary changes and optimization efforts.
  • Test proof of concepts of new technology to determine relevance to organizational needs.
  • Consult with development, security, and infrastructure staff to ensure adoption of new technology solutions and knowledge transfer.
  • Conduct code reviews; design test plans and write technical documentation.
  • Translate complex product and project requirements into innovative technical solutions that can be implemented by the organization.
  • Establish, promote, and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, metrics, policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure the security of information exchanged between employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure optimum performance, scalability, and usability of the business services running as components of the overall architecture.
  • Proactively share knowledge and information with others
  • Collaborate with others in a friendly, patient, and polite manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
