Position Overview:Supervises daily activities and patient flow processes of department staff such as PeriOp/O.R. Nurses, Medical Assistants/Scrub Techs, Support Techs, Scheduler’s, and Front Desk Clerical Staff. Acts as a coach, mentor and problem solver for staff in the department. Works collaboratively with Medical Director, Director, and Manager on patient care issues and department direction.Qualifications:REQUIRED:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current California Registered Nurse/LVN license

Current AHA BLS/CPR certification

Current AHA ACLS certification

3 years experience in a Perioperative setting

Current knowledge of Anesthetic agents and related medications

Thorough knowledge of nursing process, surgical procedures, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
