HIRING NOW: General Labor, full-time seasonal (Jeffersonville)

G.W. Tatro is looking for qualified laborers to join our team! We are offering full-time, season work on varied construction sites.

As a laborer, you will:

Provide labor support to active projects at G.W. Tatro Construction.

Prepare job site, and put away job equipment at end of day

Safely work with heavy equipment and around traffic

Work in a ditch and trench box while following safety protocols

Operate powered and non-powered hand tools as necessary

Help with pipe fittings, structure placement, and removal of old material

Perform clean up of work area at end of day

Follow the safety parameters as lined out by the job supervisor or safety manager, and report all unsafe conditions

Tasks as needed or directed by the laborer’s supervisor

People who will fit best in this role will:

Be team oriented

Have the capacity to work in a team and cooperatively with others

Possess aptitude in people skills- both with coworkers and the public

Driver’s license preferred

Working conditions for a laborer:

Occasional weekend work

Long hours

Steep terrain

All weather conditions

Physical requirements

Stamina

Ability to travel

Ability to lift 70 pounds
