Survey CAD Technician

Power Surveying Company in Denver, CO is seeking a qualified Survey CAD Technician to add to our team. Candidates need experience utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D or Carlson 2015-2021 preferably with importing points and creating surfaces. We are looking for experienced candidates at the present time. Prior experience in Land Surveying drafting and/or working in the field as a party chief or instrument operator is required.

Applicants must be able to complete survey drawings using field data and notes to create drawings using our standards, take directions and follow up with clients. A knowledge of construction calculations, reading survey notes and sketches, and good overall computer skills is a plus.

Requirements for consideration:

1) 2 years minimum experience with survey drafting on ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic mapping, Improvement Survey Plats, Construction Survey Calculations, writing legal descriptions, creating exhibits to depict legal descriptions, Creating subdivsion plats, etc.

2) Ability to work as a team

3) Previous field experience a plus

4) Experience with Trimble Business Center a plus

5) Experience with Arc GIS also a plus

6) Ability to operate Office 365, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
