Land Surveyor

Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? Are you able to grasp concepts quickly, manage your time effectively and do not need direct supervision? Are you resourceful and creative? Do you like to travel often? If so, then we might have the job for you! Ambit Consulting has an immediate opening for a Field Survey Technician with the following qualifications:

Good math and problem solving skills

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Non-restricted driver’s license

Ability to travel frequently to project sites

Preferred experience: (We are willing to train a motivated candidate with zero experience)

Experience working on a survey crew operating GPS, Total Stations and Level Instrumentation is preferable

Familiar with performing topographic and boundary surveys

Ability to independently research land records

This position requires travel Mon-Fri.
