Pacific Community Design has an immediate opening for an Associate Landscape Designer. We are looking for someone on the path to licensure with some previous work experience in Landscape Design. The Associate Landscape Designer will complete tasks with supervision and support from experienced members of the Landscape Architecture team.

Responsibilities, Tasks, Authority:

The Associate Landscape Designer will support projects and deliverables. In this role you will support the landscape architecture team in all phases of design. The Associate Landscape Designer will develop a knowledge of regional plant materials and become familiar with all project components to the team and clients. The Associate Landscape Designer will assist in the development of renderings, presentation materials, etc., both in digital form and by hand. Under general supervision, the Associate Landscape Designer will assist in preparing construction documents; will review own work and make revisions prior to review by senior team members; will take on higher-level work with support for training and development purposes.

The Associate Landscape Designer will demonstrate PCD’s values of building long-term relationships by focusing on mutual respect and integrity in all we do. Qualifications:

Degree in Landscape Architecture. The Associate Landscape Designer will be on the path to licensure with fewer than two years of experience. In this role you will have familiarity with design software and a strong ability to communicate with landscape team members. Understanding of local plant materials is beneficial in this role. The Associate Landscape Designer will have a desire to continue to develop knowledge and professional skills through mentorship and self-driven learning. The Associate Landscape Designer will be proficient in Microsoft Office, demonstrate experience with digital filing and workflow tools, and have a working understanding and application of graphic and landscape design principles. In this role the Associate Landscape Designer will have excellent organization, time management, and responsiveness to deadlines.
