IMMEDIATE HILO OPPORTUNITY - INDEPENDENT DELIVERY DRIVER EARLY MORNING (HILO)

Food Manufacturer/Distributor looking for INDEPENDENT Delivery Driver to work early morning distribution Weekdays, Saturday, and Holidays IN HILO, HAWAII. Drivers operate by picking up load at HILO Airport at about 4 am and delivering early morning hours until about 8-9am. Deliveries are Daily including Holidays, except Sundays. Currently deliveries are made on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays because of Covid but will resume at a later date. This is an independent drivers opportunity for your own business or if you already have a distribution business in Hilo, Hawaii. THIS IS NOT FOR REGULAR EMPLOYMENT.

Responsibilities:

Must have large, insured vehicle such as Truck, Large SUV, Van or mini van. Arrangements for vehicle can be worked out.

Must be punctual and have perfect attendance as well as a standby driver or vehicle incase of illness or emergencies.

Efficient and timely deliveries to many various locations in HILO, HAWAII.

Friendly customer service to all receiving customers.

Accountable for all product deliveries, daily scanning/faxing/or emailing signed invoices to Honolulu, scanning in products at some retailers, and mandatory customer signatures.

Deliveries must be made within time windows.

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License with clean abstract

Standard insured vehicle.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Attendance and back up driver is extremely important.

Well groomed and neat appearance.

Knowledge of standard locations and landmarks on HILO, HAWAII helpful.
