Senior Software Developer / Fully Remote

Job Description This fully remote senior software developer position is based out in Pasadena and is looking to bring on a full time developer. This client has been featured on Forbes, ABC and New York times to name a few. This client keeps loved ones connected and safe, preventing fraud through integrating 1st and 3rd party data with over 14 billion records and 18 visitors per month they need the best on their team to continue to ensure this level of necessary protection. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of development experience in web applications and/or backend APIs
• 4+ years of development experience with Ruby on Rails is required. Experience with Javascript or Node.js is a plus
• 4+ years using SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Lucene, and/or Solr
• Experience developing with cloud services, AWS recommended
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting high-usage, high-throughput systems
• Experience optimizing application performance and database queries
• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures

• Write clean and concise performant code REST API
• Support data for multiple databased for critical infrastructure
• Collaborate with product owners
• Create and maintain API usage documentation and flow diagrams and improve efficiencies
