Legacy Lodge, a program operated by Evergreen Recovery Centers, is a 24-bed men’s residential facility located in Mount Vernon, WA, 50 miles north of Seattle, in a small college town on Puget Sound also known for farming, hiking, winter sports and crabbing and fishing. There are no traffic jams, housing is affordable and people are friendly.

Evergreen Recovery Centers has been a Northwest leader in behavioral health treatment since 1973 and employs 175 staff in 8 locations between Tacoma and Mount Vernon and serves 8,000 individuals a year. As a member of the NIDA Clinical Trials Network, it has close relationships to universities and often participates in tests of potential new models of care. Monthly consultation with a national addiction psychiatrist is part of the in-service program offered to managers and clinical staff.

Legacy Lodge operates in a beautiful newly remodeled residential facility in a residential section of Mount Vernon. The program offers individualized, high quality ASAM Level 3.3 and 3.5 residential treatment for men with substance use disorders and often co-occurring histories of trauma, abuse, violence, depression, mood disorders, PTSD. The program has a staff of approximately 20, and the Program Manager personally supervises 3 licensed counselors and 3 administrative support staff.

The Residential Program Manager is responsible for overseeing program design and curricula as well as cultivating a collaborative, cohesive team where all positions area part of assuring clinical excellence and patient-centered care. The successful candidate will have an understanding of addiction as a disease, respect for self-help support groups, awareness of the importance of addressing mental health issues as part of recovery, and commitment to and energy for the challenges that treating persons with substance use disorders presents. The position a regular workday 5 days a week but will involve responding to after-hours situations on occasion. Minimum Qualifications

· Master’s degree in psychology, chemical dependency and/or mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a similar discipline or a BA degree with 8 years’ experience in a WA residential addiction treatment facility.

· At least 5 years’ experience in clinical leadership in an addiction treatment program, creating patient-centered, evidence-based models of care for persons with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders, preferably in a residential behavioral health facility.

· At least 2 years’ experience directly supervising counselors in a behavioral health agency is required (may be within the 5 years’ experience specified above).

· Current licensure in Washington State as a Substance Use Disorder Professional and qualify as a Department of Health “approved supervisor” under Substance Use Disorder Professional WAC. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently licensed by WA DOH as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or comparable license from another state).

· Possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s license and personal auto insurance.

Negotiable but we have highly competitive salaries. Pay is based on education and prior experience.
