Roles and Responsibility: As part of the current sensitive project, this role will require the engineer to convert the current scripts within one framework to fit into a new server in the Linux environment. In a continuing effort to help with the project, this engineer will also be involved in execution, characterization, log analysis, result reporting, test triggering and environmental debug of various frameworks and their test cases, tools, etc within the various working platforms. This engineer will need to ramp up quickly and understand the new environment, its requirements, limitations and dependencies in order to successfully port (convert) the scripts to work in the new headless HPC server environment without compromising their behavior and integrity in their old environment. Other roles will include debugging the scripts, adding content conditions and possibly libraries (if needed), at times collaboration with other engineers, modifying, maintaining, or contributing to launch pad or controllers, all under the close direction and supervision of the automation architecture/lead. Other tasks will include documentations, code pull/update/maintain via version control SW (GIT), attending regular meetings and providing clear daily status update, collaboration/working in different Geo time zone as needed, etc. As the project progresses, this role may farther evolve and stretch into other areas.
