Barista:

Are you passionate about coffee and customer service? Are you an outgoing, positive, punctual person? Vagabond Blues in Palmer is looking for a Barista with Server experience to add to our team! This is more than your average cafe job, Vagabond Blues is in the heart of downtown Palmer and you'll have a chance to meet the community. We see coffee as an artful science and encourage free pour latte art, and expect the highest quality and consistency possible with every drink. Job requirements include;

18 years of age or older

Barista and Server experience

Reliable transportation

Punctual

Flexible schedule, open availability preferred

Open to constructive guidance

Good cash-handling skills

Cook:

Vagabond Blues is looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our back of house team! We are looking for a self motivated individual with high standards for cleanliness and efficiency. Punctuality is a must, as well as a positive attitude open to constructive guidance. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, with skills as a line cook, prep cook, and soup cook. With an understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, recipes, multi-tasking and knife skills. Must be a dependable team player with an upbeat, motivated and positive personality! Job duties include;

- Follow proper food handling procedures, including cooling and storing at appropriate temperatures.

- Prep food items according to standard recipes with high accuracy.

- Rotate and organize stock, make sure all orders are put away in correct places (able to lift 50 lbs).

- Maintain inventory and pars to reduce waste.

- Work as a team to complete all line and prep items in a timely manner.
