Must have skills: EKS, CI/CD with Gitlab, expert with AWS migration Experience:· Design/Implementation/Operation of Cloud based technologies· Design/Implementation containers/applications in scalable HA/DR multi-tier cloud environments, including new system design, documentation, implementation, and deployment.· Responsible for blameless postmortems and proactive identification of potential outages factor into iterative improvement.· Work closely with product engineering and ops teams to build/migrate/operate highly available, cost-effective systems.· Create new tools and scripts designed for auto-remediation of incidents.· Responsible for establishing end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical aspects to ensure SLAs and get proactive notifications of possible issues for all systems.· Design platforms for extremely high uptime metrics.· Works well independently and requires little or no supervision.· Work with the cloud operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, and troubleshooting.· Fully understand the application, microservices interactions.· Participate in 24x7 an on-call rotation.
Must Have: · BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent job experience required· 4+ years of experience developing and/or administering software in public cloud or similar experience/certification preferred· AWS certification preferred· Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.· Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security and databases· Experience with Infrastructure as a tool/automation such as Terraform a plus· Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling (such as Jenkins) and practices a plus· System administration skills, including automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt Stack and/or containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills· You thrive in and have experience and passion for working within a DevOps culture and as part of a team· Experience in Agile Methodologies and processes.· Strong verbal/written communication skills.Vacancy expired!
