Job details:Client: PharmaceuticalRole: Cell Culture ScientistLocation: Boston, MA 02210Duration: 6 months (High possible extension OR FTE) Description:Cell-cultured meat and seafood could provide a healthier, more ethical, and sustainable alternative to conventional animal protein. The Cultured Meat program is focused on the development of enabling solutions to accelerate the emerging field of cultured meat. We have an exciting opportunity in the Cultured Meat team for a cell culture scientist. The scientist will support the development of cell culture media for expansion and differentiation of cells for the emerging cultured meat industry. Responsibilities will include cell culture media preparations, cell culture and analysis and maintaining accurate records. This position is based in the Boston area. Requirements:- Some experience with cell culture techniques including cell passaging, culture and counting
- Experience with basic laboratory skills like using scale and pH measurements
- Is expected to work safely and efficiently in the lab
- Self-directed with sense of urgency and excited to learn and develop new skills.
