Title: Medical Devices Engineer Mandatory skills: Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook, CAD, Minitab,medical devices, MS Office, Solidworks,EU MDR, DHF updating, project management, technical writing, DHF Description: Summary: Supports IV Administration Disposable sets. Displays standard engineering principles to resolve difficult problems, from conception to final design with team input. Plans, schedules and leads project assignments (Change Control) in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures and criteria with minimal guidance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1) With minimal guidance, owns product changes from initiation through implementation. Schedules and leads a team through the planning and execution of a smaller project or defined piece of a larger project. This includes constructing detailed, accurate project schedules, interfacing with development groups and technical support groups.2) Devises new approaches to complex problems through adaptations and modifications of standard technical principles and constraints.3) Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.4) Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:1. B.S. in Engineering or related with 2-5 years experience.2. Experience with medical devices or in a regulated environment desired.3. Display a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertise.4. Good communication skills (emphasis on writing)5. Effectively operate in and may facilitate cross-functional teams with guidance.6. Must be able to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives and cost implications.vii) Experience: EU MDR, DHF updating, multi-tasking, project management, technical writingTop three to five technical skill requirementsi. Experience in medical device, with familiarity to DHFii. Experience in EU MDR would be considered an assetiii. Displays a solid understanding of theories/practices utilized by other disciplines outside primary area of expertiseiv. Good technical writing skills, and able to rationalize/leverage from past dataTop three to five soft skill requirementsv. Good communication skills (emphasis on writing)vi. Effectively operate in and may facilitate cross-functional teams with minimal guidancevii. Multi-tasking and having sense of urgencyviii.
