ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Miami)
As our Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Accountant, undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail and basic bookkeeping. Preparing statutory accounts. Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are done correctly.
Additional responsibilities include:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting .
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
Constantly update job knowledge
Requirements:
Proven experience with Quick Books
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excell -Word- Outlook)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Well organized
Experience in AP, AR from beginning to end
Payroll
Account Reconciliation
