Laboratory Technician - Garden Grove

Entry Level Chemist - Environmental, Orange, CA (temp-to-hire)Work Days/Shift: 2nd shift, Tues.- SaturdayTuesday - Friday 1-10 pm. Saturday: 9am-6pm.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform analysis of environmental samples (soil and water samples) according to SOPs.

Prepare and submit accurate analytical reports in a timely manner.

Calibrate and operate analytical instruments to analyze samples correctly and promptly. Will be running IC, GC, GCMS and/or other analytic equipment.

Record and update instruments run logs and maintenance logbook.

Prepare analytical standards and solutions used in the analysis.

Perform MDL, LOD/LOQ studies, and other QC requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

AS / BS degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science

0-2 years of laboratory experience

Academic lab experience.

Strong work ethic.
