Sr. IT Core Banking Project Manager (hybrid San Fran OR NY)Support Core Banking projects including ATM's, Debits, Deposits, LendingWhat you'll do:

  • Collaborate with Product Owner (PO) and Tech Owners (TO) to identify, summarize and capture the Product Vision, Roadmap, and Backlogs
  • Define and manage the Product Roadmap in JIRA: Idea to Initiative to EPIC to User Story
  • Partner with PO and TO on monthly progress update to present at Functional Lead meeting
  • Plan, facilitate and summarize new Product Increment planning events (done each quarter)
  • Help manage risks and dependencies crossing workstreams
  • Escalate and track impediments crossing workstreams
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Work with the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) on program execution and operational excellence
  • Understand and operate within Budgets, complete monthly Hyperion forecast
  • Provide Dashboard reporting to PO for bi-monthly Business Product Updates meeting as required
  • Will be required to drive developing business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans and other work streams related activities and artifacts.
  • Leads and manages all aspects of project planning within and across related projects including scope, budget, financial forecasting, and scheduling.
  • May contribute and/or lead vendor relationship management for project-related vendors and coordinates initial contracts, contract renewals, and addenda to contracts with key project vendors.
  • Keeps project governance up to date and reports on projects as per PWM PMO standards and contributes to their incremental improvement.
  • Monitors project and/or program execution and escalates project risks and issues early.
  • Facilitates adoption of business process changes and leads project team and stakeholders through effective change management
  • Develops detailed training, communication and rollout plans and manages business process changes
  • Leads integration of multiple upstream and downstream data interfaces
  • Manages time bound regulatory compliance projects impacting critical business functions
This positing will report to the Senior Director of the Enterprise Portfolio Office, representing the Lending and Deposits Portfolios. If you are well organized, and know how to motivate others, this position could be for you. Communication is key to success, and you will interact with all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders and Sponsors to individual team members in the business and technical areas.Experience & Education Four-year degree or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications. Formal training in project or program management and/or certification required. Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills including serving as a mentor. Five or more years of project/program management experience and demonstrated success. Five or more years of experience that demonstrates an understanding of IT and/or banking operations systems and operations. Requires advanced knowledge of Project, Program and Product management principles. Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects within budget and on. Requires expertise in MS Office, MS Visio, and MS Project. Requires demonstrated knowledge in system integration and management.Skills/Competencies: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in financial technology, or in a banking environment. Must be an excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and management. Must be able to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring. Must encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products and processes. Must be able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation. Must be willing and able to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution. Must understand Project Management and agile metrics and reporting techniques. Must work effectively in a growing, dynamic development environment with matrix reporting structure. Comfortable presenting to large and small groups.
