Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Senior Delivery Lead who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned portfolios. By partnering with the business and technical leads, the Delivery Lead plays a critical role delivering high quality products within budget and according to forecasted timelines. You will monitor and drive project performance by implementing project management best practices using agile and industry standard project management tools and systems.This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of Sr. Delivery Lead:
  • Prepare and facilitate Scrum ceremonies and supporting artifacts including sprint plans, sprint reports, and forecasts.
  • Partner with the team tech leads and business leads to pull work forward by driving requirements gathering and grooming.
  • Deliver projects and priorities, constantly validating that the team is aligned and focused on outcomes.
  • Predict issues and manage risks through the ecosystem of SSPP and the network of project and product leads.
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Responsible for the quality and performance of all software solutions created.
  • Leverage centralized organizations and functions appropriately and where it brings increased efficiency to the team.
  • Align team to departmental defaults such as instrumentation, universal design, branding, and experience consistency as well as advocate for deviations from defaults where beneficial to the team.
  • Create routine communications for management consumption regarding project execution, feature delivery, quality, and team performance.

Requirements of Sr. Delivery Lead:
  • 5+ years of Product/Project management experience or Scrum Master experience
  • Expert understanding of enterprise level software development lifecycle
  • Expert ability to analyze, interpret and present data
  • Expert ability to manage complex and diverse projects
  • Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence and the ability to pull/design automated reports from both
  • Strong business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results
  • Strong problem resolution techniques, ability to find solutions
  • Strong presentation tool skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, for internal and external customers
  • Ability to balance conflicting resource demands and internal pressures with focus towards business priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and electronically
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategies and tactics
  • Ability to manage and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
