Role: Senior C# Engineer/Architect (Hybrid - Newark, NJ) We are looking to hire candidates with the below skills and experience mentioned for one of our major clients based out of NYC, NY/Newark, NJ, within the Technology industry/domain. These are permanent hiring opportunities, open to Contract to Hire (CTH) and C2C. Positions will start out as remotely. About the Client:Our client is a design and technology services firm that helps enterprises and startups build leading-edge solutions. Their teams design and build innovative systems in areas such as blockchain, big data, real-time systems, next-generation social platforms, and SaaS platforms. Job Summary:We have a need for a Sr. Software Engineer with strong C# skills. They will be hands-on but must be capable of understanding architectures and able to both design and build components. This is a FS blockchain project where we will be designing, building, and extending components. This is not a job for someone who has done code maintenance.The Senior Software Engineer is a key team member of the development team building cutting-edge products and services for startups and enterprises. This person will contribute to the solution architecture and be responsible for designing and building key components of client solutions. The responsibilities differ depending on the phase of the project. Responsibilities will include:- Design and build software components.
- Work with other developers on components and end-to-end implementation.
- Participate in architectural and product roadmap planning sessions.
- Evaluate new technologies to include in solutions.
Required Skills/Experience:- 10+ years of experience with C#.
- Strong experience building .NET Core applications using microservices.
- Strong experience building and integrating with REST APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with RDMS like MS SQL, Postgres, and MySQL.
- Experience building solutions with NoSQL databases (a big plus).
- Experience working in a cloud-based environment - AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience building Microservices based applications.
- Experience with AngularJS is a plus.
Other Skills:- Experience in Financial Services (a big plus).
- Experience with blockchain technology and big data technologies (a big plus).
- The candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must possess very good communication skills and very good analytical skills.
Other Job Specifications:- Employment Type: Permanent Hiring, Contract to Hire (CTH), and Corp to Corp (C2C).
- Job Location: NYC, NY, and Newark, NJ. Local candidates are preferred (candidates in NJ/NY or nearby areas). Consultants will be required to be hybrid.
- Rate: Permanent Employment $200K - $215K base salary plus 15% bonus plus benefits depending on experience level. For Contract-to-hire or C2C candidates contract rate is $900/professional day basis.
