Python Developer (SDET)

Python Developer (SDET)1+ Year contract (option to hire w/ extension if contract preferred)NYC/Remote (1 day a week on-site on Manhattan office)

• 8+ years of related experience
• Expertise in Financial/Banking domain
• Strong Python development experience (developing automation framework from the ground up)
• Deep understanding of agile methodology
• Deep understanding and experience in developing testing methodology, terminology, templates etc.
• Deep understanding of the test management and defect management processes
• Good knowledge of derivative products and applications
• Experience with SQL and nice to have MongoDB
• Understanding of CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket
• Experience with UI and API automation, using Selenium, Playwright or similar tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset
• Team player, with demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders (Business and Technology)
• Forward looking vision of Automation
• Expert understanding of test tools and techniques
• Foundational management capabilities to drive demand and capacity planning, budgeting and cost tracking
• Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate Risks and Issues related to Testing
