Job DetailsEngineering Degree with former experience in Space field. Program Management (C&DH)Proposal Writing and presentationFormer NASA, or space/satellite/robotic engineers of any kind wanted BS degree in computer science or closely related field.Experience with Embedded C and C; Linux application level C and C experience.Experience with standard software development tools and workflows (make, cmake, git, etc.).Experience with Keil uVision 5, ARM, RTOS's, Robotics, Computer vision / high performance applications.Experience developing in embedded code to control and interface mechanical, electro mechanical, sensors, COTS components, system communications.Experience developing embedded software for microcontrollers, peripheral driver development (ADCs, DACs, RS232, RS422/485, CAN, etc.).Experience with Program Management and Business Development experience is highly desirableRESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with a fast-paced, interdisciplinary teamConduct deployment and testing of code on flight hardwareContribute to the design and development of software for Linux and bare metal environmentsWrite code for resource constrained and critical, high-reliability systemsImplement state of the art computer vision algorithmsWe are currently seeking to hire a Software Engineer for our active space program with Embedded Software experience to become an integral part of our development team! You will design and test operating systems-level software for space applications. Seeking an innovative and self-driven Software Engineer for key research and development activities. The ideal candidate will have >2 years' experience in designing, developing, building, and testing aerospace or related military robotics or commercial systems experience. The position requires systems engineering skills as applied to space robotics leading to spacecraft Command & Data Handling (C&DH) system. This role allows for direct contribution towards near-term space flight programs including cutting edge space missions for NASA, commercial space and defense.
