Fox Trailers is hiring for a team member for our yard crew. Fox offers a fun and relaxed environment where everyone is treated like family. Our yard crew works in all varieties of weather including summer and winter. Sometimes you will be inside, but a lot of the position will be outdoors on the tractors and forklifts and out and about in the yard. Must have experience operating a tractor or forklift preferably both.

You must be able to lift more than 80lbs. You will be putting tires and gates on trailers. You will also potentially be up and down often. If you cannot lift at least 80lbs and have issues getting up and down often this will probably not be the best position or fit for you.

This position includes a wide array of tasks that can vary from day to day. Below are just some of the tasks you may find yourself completing but will vary greatly depending on that week’s schedule, staffing, weather, etc.

- Unloading Trailers via forklift from incoming loads (We can train you on this)

- Putting together and checking in trailers that have been unloaded

- Inspecting trailers looking for anything that is damaged or could possibly be a warranty issue and reporting damages or warrant issues to manager

- Organizing and putting away trailers via the tractor once they have been fully checked in and inspected.

- Organizing and reorganizing trailers to keep the yard in order as loads come in

- Hook up’s you will be hooking up customers to the trailers they have purchased making sure to direct them correctly, show them how everything works and walk through the hook up with them, not only so they understand how everything works, but also making sure everything is safe and secure and in working order before they leave the lot

- You will be doing minor repairs and alterations to trailers, depending on your skill set this may be less or more

- We build our own trailers here from the ground up. You will probably be tasked in some way or at some point in helping with some of the process, weather it be decking a trailer or wiring up trailers.

- General cleaning duties of interior and exterior shop including garbage removal, sweeping, putting away supplies and materials, etc.

Hours will be Monday – Friday from 9-6

Medical, Dental and Vision After 90 days

Vacation after 1 year

This position will be hourly starting at $17.00 (Hourly depends and will go up depending on your experience level and skill set)
