Company :Highmark Inc.Job Description :JOB SUMMARYThis job leads a team of Wellness Coaches who deliver health and wellness services to the Organization's members. The incumbent is accountable for daily operation of unit including staffing and scheduling to ensure that member outreach is effective and completed within defined timeframes and according to established processes. Ensures that team members are clinically competent and adequately trained in order to achieve member engagement targets as well as defined clinical and financial outcomes and establishes and monitors individual and team performance goals providing feedback and taking action to ensure that goals are achieved. May lead/participate in work groups focused on continually improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the wellness coaching programs delivered to members.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.

Ensure that wellness coaching programs are proactive, innovative and engaging from the member perspective while conforming to established policies and work processes.

Ensure that team members are clinically competent and adequately trained in motivational interviewing and other engagement techniques in order to achieve the team’s engagement and clinical targets.

Conduct ongoing case and call audits. Provide routine feedback to both staff and manager

Lead/participate in both departmental and interdepartmental workgroups to continually enhance the delivery of wellness coaching programs and services.

Ensure that all services are delivered consistent with applicable internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

EDUCATIONRequiredBachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Health Education, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Public Health, or other Clinical related field

EXPERIENCERequired3 years of Clinical Experience

To Include:3 years working in Wellness Program Development or Delivery

PreferredRegistered Dietician, ACSM, CHES, Health/Wellness Coach certification
