This client is in the retail industry and looking to bring on a Database Administrator skilled in Postgres and Azure. This role is remote but will require you to reside in one of the following states:
CT, DC, DE, GA, IL, KY, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, TN, WI, WV This company is looking for the Database hire as the current project is moving towards converting a majority of their databases over to Postgres. They need a DBA who can support high available Postgres environments and familiar with Citrus, which is used as their high availability for Postgres. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with migrations from on-prem Postgres high available clusters to Microsoft Azure cloud services. You should have experience with Microsoft Azure and running Postgres in the cloud. Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as Postgres Database Administrator
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure with Postgres
- Experience with Citrus High Availability
- Experience with Informix
- Experience working within a DevOps environment
- 100% Database Administration work
