Network Project Manager - II

Location: Raleigh, NC Description: Project Managers to support a global utilities client, developing their network and security needs with industry leading solutions, growing their business digitization capabilities and improving efficiencies. Job Requirements: Lead a portfolio of projects, involving different stakeholders following benchmark PM methodology. Discipline is required in change control; budget management, and on-time delivery performance. It is critical that PM is able to decide priorities, optimizing results across workload Environment is pressurized to continually deliver excellence and strive for continuous improvement in process efficiencies, document quality, and solution delivery. Individual needs to enjoy a challenge and relish continuously being encouraged to improve Strong communication skills are critical to develop close relationships with the customer to collaborate as partners, allowing full understanding on critical focus areas, driving customer satisfaction. All solutions are directly activated onto a live network. Therefore it is critical that implementations are rolled out with careful due diligence and focus on quality of work at all times, preventing any potential network failure or re-work actions Influencing and negotiating skills are required to navigate the many inter departmental relationships to ensure the PM has the right resources allocated and priority within our business processes and systems to meet the customer goals Risk/Issue mitigation skills and experience within complex solutions is paramount, to ensure budgets and delivery expectations are held, even when delays within the project timeline occur Previous experience within a Telco environment and an understanding of networks and cyber security solutions is preferred ? Required Skills & Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in relevant subject ? Five or more years of working as a Project Manager with additional industry experience ? Previous experience in an external customer focused environment ? Proven leadership skills & capabilities Preferred Skills & Qualifications: ? Masters? degree in IT or Engineering discipline with over 2 years of experience ? PRINCE 2 or ITIL PM qualification ? Experience in AGILE working practices ? Experience to Lean Six Sigma philosophies, potentially with certification ? IT Enterprise Client Experience ? Effectively use a variety of collaboration tools to create and deliver effective program level verbal and written communications (i.e. WebEx, video conferencing, email, PowerPoint, GDrive) ?
