Position Description

Are you a strategic, data-driven and creative marketer with proven expertise in developing and driving integrated marketing campaigns?

This senior marketer is responsible for creating an integrated marketing strategy to further drive awareness, demand and thought leadership for Concur’s travel product category. Collaborating with SAP, internal teams and external partners, you are always looking to improve existing marketing strategies and incorporate new opportunities.

You are responsible for the co-creation and execution of the end to end campaign strategy and activities. Success in this role is requires strong partnerships and hand-offs with the field to ensure campaigns are adopted and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to translate business goals and objectives from marketing plans into actionable integrated campaigns with the right mix of awareness, demand and sales activities across the customer lifecycle journey.

  • Development of compelling customer insight led content that supports corporate and local business needs that drives pipeline and revenue.

  • Work with agencies and the integrated marketing team to ensure world-class quality marketing materials and campaign assets are produced including messaging, advertising, web content, AR pieces, offers, emails, graphics, videos, etc.

  • Advise regional marketing teams on campaign strategies and facilitate sharing of best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross program and corporate peers including AR, PR, social, advertising, customer advocacy, partner and digital to deliver exceptional integrated customer experience through the campaigns.

  • Work to analyze and identify root cause and action plans to address program performance issues and drive continual improvement in both worldwide and in-country campaign results.

  • Track, measure and report corporate campaign performance against agreed-upon metrics, working across regions to identify and analyze gaps and actions plans to course-correct as the campaign execution unfolds.

  • Manage overall creation and execution of corporate campaigns on budget, on time and on target.

  • Communicate effectively on a regularly scheduled cadence with the field and key stakeholders to ensure alignment.

    Key requirements:

  • 6-8 years or more in a marketing, marketing communications, digital, media, advertising, or related role—resulting in a demonstrated mastery of integrated marketing campaign design, content marketing and digital promotion

  • Exceptional writing skills for developing effective and crisp campaign messaging.

  • Exceptional ability to lead, influence and work across organization with a strong track record building excellent relationships with a broad and global range of peers and executives.

  • A passion for storytelling and ability to establish a strategic vision and editorial perspective to deliver differentiated, compelling content.

  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, oral/written communication, project management, supervisory skill

  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices

  • Results-oriented, organized, analytical, detail-oriented and self-directed team player with a positive attitude

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working within tight deadlines, adjusting to changes in priorities, and balancing short term needs with long term strategic initiatives.

  • Prior experience working in international marketing is highly desirable
