Job Description:Sr, Software EngineerLocation: Jersey City/HybridDuration: 24 MonthsRoles and Responsibilities:Develop Java projects for Global Spread Products (Credit Derivatives, Front Office, E-trading experience)The ideal candidate will fit into the team and the current code base, make it their own and use this as a base to design and develop new components. This will include ongoing re-implementations of the existing codebase, extensions thereof and ongoing support of these systems.Develop Solutions to problems both tactical and strategic as the business requires it.The candidate is expected to be able to propose solutions to complex problems that are in line with the system architecture.The candidate should understand the impact a change has when defining solutions and build this into estimates.The candidate should be able to communicate with various other teams involved in setting up application environments. Must Have:10 Years strong experience on Java, J2EE/JEE on server side.Application frameworks Spring, Hibernate,Good Object oriented concepts and proven Test Driven PracticesStrong Experience in troubleshooting and managing applications on Linux ServersStrong Multithreading experience.Strong experience in creating Micro services and Docker based deployment Good to Have :Experience with kubernetes docker deployments.SQL experience is a plus.Messaging systems like Solace or Tibco is a plus.
