Job Functions Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time Manage projects from initiation through closing and/or manage Scrum Teams based on product roadmap and allocated yearly budget. Program manage multiple projects and / or enhancements either on a Scrum Team or under traditional project methodology.

  • global projects (and scoping of projects) across multiple countries and time zones. Coordinate efforts in a highly matrixed environment with a diverse team of stakeholders. Ensure local and global approvals are obtained as necessary.
  • Utilize Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and traditional project management toolkits based on the need of each initiative / team. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. Manage cross-divisional relationships across reporting lines. Lead Scrum Teams / project teams effectively. Collaborate, help others understand their interactions and work to maximize the value of the entire team. Delegate tasks and provides coaching and guidance to team members to ensure assignments are completed timely. Facilitate all project / Scrum Team meetings. Develop and maintain all project / Scrum Team documentation and ensure proper storage in line with internal control and audit requirements. Manage projects / Scrum Teams within JIRA and ensure all information is updated timely. Establish project / sprint pace to best meet project deliverables. Assist with product backlog management; organize sprint planning, demos and retrospectives. Assist with estimations. Create, update and monitor team norms; monitor team morale and address any issues. Coordinate all project / Scrum Team tasks and interdependencies. Document, obtain approval, and track all changes. Manage and document all risks, issues and decisions, working to remove impediments and resolving conflict. Serve as first point of escalation for the team. Track actual expenses with the project / Scrum Team budget. Define, track, and report results of project / Scrum Team milestones and success metrics through weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting. Create and present PowerPoint presentations for project kick-offs and other ad hoc needs, such as steering committee meetings and project / Scrum Team updates. Facilitate and document lessons learned and suggest improvements throughout the organization. Complete 90-day tollgate documentation and reviews post project implementation Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Seven (7) to ten (10) years demonstrated success in managing projects that cross multiple lines of business and leading technology related projects.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred.
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred.
    • Knowledge of PMI Project Management Tool Kit, Visio, Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence and the standard Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Process Engineering experience including, cost benefit analysis, process mapping and design.
