YOU WILL:
  • Partners with client stakeholders to successfully manage medium to large IT projects to conclusion.
  • Provide guidance to project members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, while ensuring high standards of quality, communications, and overall project governance (scope, schedule, financials).
  • Manage multiple medium to large IT projects concurrently.
  • Responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project team members to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering projects that provide business value
  • Partners with the investment manager in the project lifecycle including business case and funding request development,
  • Responsible to ensure that all deliverables associated with 3rd party vendor contracts are delivered and quality checked
  • Responsible for accuracy of project financial estimates, forecasts and ongoing spend management
  • Perform project schedule management activities including development, monitoring, updating and reporting.
  • Perform issue and risk management activities including development, monitoring and updating of the RAID log for the project, drive issue resolution and risk mitigation at all levels and escalate as necessary.
  • Support the development of project deliverables and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Perform project resource management including on-boarding and off-boarding resources.
  • Maintain and administer the Project SharePoint site and related Smartsheet information, Lead activities and training for project team development and ensure project team meets project requirements, resolves issues, and leverages organizational resources where required
  • Ensures adherence to methodologies including stage gates.
  • Manages core project management processes (scope, cost, schedule, resource, communications, quality, risk and procurement) conforming to approved PMO practices.
  • Conducts and documents formal review at the completion of each stage
  • Prepare required weekly and monthly reports, briefings and summaries detailing project activities

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
  • 7+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably includes contracting experience
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver projects in a complex Environment
  • Must be highly collaborative, organized, critical thinking, and process driven.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites of products, (Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.)
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Projects or other project or resource management tools
  • Solid understanding of project finances and budgeting with prior project budget ownership
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • PMP, and / or other applicable certifications, training, or experience, preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver projects affecting infrastructure components.
  • Could include implementations or changes to:
    • Hardware such as networks, storage, or servers.
    • Datacenters, facilities or cloud-based technologies
    • Mobile device or desktops
    • Unified Communications or collaboration technologies
