Entry Level HMI/PLC Programmer

HIM/PLC Programmer to supportCarollo's vision of becoming the best water consulting firm in the United States. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.ResponsibilitiesPerforms routine HMI programming assignments

Ability to perform basic programming duties under the direction of supervising staff

Assists supervising staff with in-field startup and testing activities

Attends project meetings

Reviews objectives and assignment details with higher level staff to insure thorough understanding

Uses judgment in selecting among authorized procedures and seeks assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed or when unanticipated problems arise

QualificationsMinimum 6 months' internship in SCADA system programming

Basic understanding of PLC and SCADA system functions

Possess a desire to develop programming skills

Ability to travel up to 40% as needed

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team

Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting

Valid driver's license

Preferred QualificationsExperience in the water and wastewater industry

Passion to develop leading-edge concepts
