The Human Resources Manager will provide on-site support to both client representatives and HireArt employees located in our client’s St. Louis facility. The Human Resources Manager will supervise, support, and coach an Employee Experience Coordinator who is dedicated to resolving employee inquiries and ensuring employees have a positive work experience.The HR Manager will lead the execution of on-site performance management programs, partner cross-functionally with Operations, Learning and Development, Compliance, and the Facility Security Officer to roll out specialized programs, provide subject matter expertise regarding best practices in company policy, and exercise good judgment in high impact scenarios.As an HR Manager, you’ll: Provide support and guidance to Employee Experience Coordinators, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues ariseLean in to provide support for employees in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and conducting terminations and exit interviewsCoordinate with managers to ensure that time off requests, payroll hours, and leave of absence requests are approved and processed timelyPeriodically review on-site policies for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practicesCreate documentation of on-site SOPs where they do not exist and ensure existing documentation is kept up to date in HireArt’s internal knowledge management toolsOversee the on-site employee onboarding experience - ensuring that employees receive all required HireArt and client trainingExecute the roll out of specialized programs in partnership with Operations, Learning and Development, Compliance, the Facility Security Officer (FSO), Account Management and other HireArt cross-functional teams; provide feedback from “on the ground” to remote teams to advise on said program roll outsMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawSupport and coach HireArt’s on-site Employee Experience Coordinator to build skills in Human ResourcesAbility to act as an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in administering personnel security clearances and executing broader security programs

Requirements

At least 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or Compliance related rolesAt least 2 years of previous experience managing direct reportsExperience configuring and operating within leading HRIS platformsDemonstrated proficiency in policy development, leading cross functional projects and stakeholder management/communicationSubject matter expertise in benefits administration, regulatory compliance and employment lawExcellent communication skills both written and verbalBasic understanding of Front, Asana, Google Suite, Slack, and other useful tools for organizational successBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to obtain a Top Secret security clearanceHireArt values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, which is why we are interested in every qualified candidate, regardless of their background or how they identify.Compensation: We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that.
