Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years’ experience in family law or estate planning or probate, but we are willing to train someone who has just passed the bar. You have some litigation experience or the willingness to appear in court. You are eager to learn and be mentored by an experienced attorney. You enjoy interaction with clients and know that you may need to “sell” them on our expertise. You want to learn all aspects of a law firm, including how to be a rainmaker.

We are looking for someone who is willing to work hard knowing that their efforts may result in working toward a partnership in an established firm. We will work with you to learn the other practice areas of the firm.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Client meetings – new clients as well as current clients – for information gathering

-Managing your paralegal’s work product

-Drafting pleadings

-Filing motions

Experience & Requirements

-1-3 years’ family law or elder law/estate planning/elder law experience preferred; recent bar admittance candidates encouraged to apply

-New Jersey bar license

-Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel

-Exceptional attention to detail

-Highly organized

-Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

-Spanish speaker a plus

-Interested in building your own book of business

Salary commensurate with experience.
