Job DescriptionThe Solution Architect provides overall solution guidance based on a broad understanding of the business needs, current solutions, technology strategies, IT standards, and security requirements. Interfaces between business areas and within IT to collaboratively define solutions aligned across the architecture disciplines and governs their development. Develops strategies, roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices. This position acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, innovator, and change agent.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred5+ years hands on design and implementation of solutionsExperience in one or more of the following is a plus: Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Livestock, EnergyExperience in some of the following business processes: process manufacturing, sales and marketing, supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics optimization and distribution, procurement and plant maintenance, food safety and quality assurance, breeding and animal welfare, environmental resource management, finance, etc.Experience working with the business and IT building strategies and roadmapsExperience in architectural standardization and governance processesExperience in software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, …)Experience with diverse technologies (Cloud/SaaS/On-premise, VMware, Infor M3, JDE, Node.js, Java, RPG, .Net, iSeries, Informatica, Tableau, Cognos, SQL Server, …)Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectivelySolid PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio skillsKnown reputation for integrity and ethics
