Intake Worker - Child Care Program (Wadena)

MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, Inc. has an opening for an Intake Worker for the Child Care Program. This is a 40 hour/week, year round, benefited position.

TITLE: Intake Worker/Child Care Program

DUTY STATION: Wadena, Minnesota, MAHUBE-OTWA office.

QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED plus Technical/Vocational certificate and 1 (one) to 3 (three) years of related clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have working knowledge of computer hardware/software and computer skills including e-mail, internet, data entry, word processing, computer files and data bases. Must possess a valid Minnesota Drivers’ License. PREFERRED: Ability to work and communicate with people of all backgrounds; interest, training or experience working with low income households and concern for low-income people.

BASIC FUNCTION: This position is responsible for processing Child Care Assistance/Early Learning Scholarship applications and reimbursements and for providing service to applicants and participating early childhood programs. The person in this position must adhere to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency Values of client focused, community minded and resourcefulness. Must have the ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality of client information and work materials.
