Field Support Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is hiring a Field Support Technician in Lenexa, Kansas (KS).Responsibilities include: Provide deskside and remote support to employees, subsidiaries, partner, contractors working for the company, and job site contractors Provide customers with technical guidance or direction on projects Procure hardware and software Field Support Technician will install hardware Manage incidents and fulfill requests within agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) Respond to all assigned tickets in a timely manner Properly record and update pertinent information in ticketing system and knowledge base Plan work in a proactive and organized manner Provide customers technology guidance or direction on projects Field Support Technician will prioritize and organize work to meet requirements, goals, and deadlines Identify potential risks and roadblocks Provide clear, relevant, consistent and proactive communication with all stakeholders Lead or participate in various company initiative or projectsREQUIREMENTS: Must possess a high level of accountability for work performed or decisions made in relation to tickets, projects or other tasks Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Recognize and escalate issues, risks, and/or concerns in a timely manner Work well individually and with teams Capable of using attentive and active listening skills to gather requirements and assess situations Must have good organizational skills Must have good attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (40+ pounds) Proficient with Microsoft Operating System and Office Suite Can travel and walk for various lengths of time Understand safety culture in the field Must possess and maintain a valid driver's licenseKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
