Proposal Coordinator who can provide direct support to all assigned proposal efforts and join our team in

Herndon, VA.Successful applicant must comply with federal contractor vaccine mandate requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Will work with the Proposal Lead to coordinate multifaceted teams in developing compliant, compelling, concise proposals that are typically large scale and technically complex.
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, identifying, and communicating risks associated with proposals.
  • Responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of proposal development and ensuring security and integrity of all proposal documentation.
  • Assist with non-technical proposal volumes such as staffing, past performance, and resumes which includes formatting, writing, editing, and proofreading project descriptions.
  • Update information in project descriptions/resumes/proposals/qualifications for use in proposals.
  • Proofread proposal materials and provide quality control checks.
  • Assist with editing copies and drafts to detect errors, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Tailor RFI outlines using company templates for each effort.
  • Create Compliance Matrices for solicitations.
  • Perform compliance reviews on RFPs/RFIs.
  • Assist in the production of draft and final text and graphics.
  • Assist Proposal Lead in the coordination of efforts of other key proposal support organizations, including contracts, graphics, pricing, subcontracts, recruiting, and management.
  • Coordinate the internal flow and review of all proposal inputs and outputs.
  • Assist the Proposal Lead in developing the color team evaluation packages and in recording, disseminating, and tracking suggested color team changes.
  • Update and maintain reuse templates, update and maintain proposal library of reusable content and support databases.
  • Maintain quality results by using templates, following proposal-writing standards, and company style guide.
  • Other reasonable and normal duties associated with the Proposal Coordinator position, as directed by the Proposal Lead and/or Proposal Director.

Work Experience:
  • 3-4 years of experience with functional proposal coordination roles such as coordination, writing, and production.
  • Familiarity and experience with Shipley Methods.

Job Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, and Adobe.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team to produce high-quality, compliant, winning proposals in a tight timeframe.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and guide the team members.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and a team player attitude.
  • Possess strong time management skills, including working outside of normal business hours.

Education:
  • AA or BA in English, Communication, Marketing, or Liberal Arts field is preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  • APMP or Shipley Training is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.

Travel:
  • No travel needed

Environmental Requirements:
  • Mainly sedentary, in an office environment.
  • Partial Remote (3 days weekly in office).
  • May be required to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Flexible in working extended hours.
