Release Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Louisville, KY that is seeking a Release Manager. This is a role for an RTE with some Agile Coaching capabilities. The Release Manager would lead the SAFE Agile process including preparation and execution of quarterly PI Planning for the ODS, Core API, Digital API and Veterans Data Product team under Sonya Ash.Summary:The Release Management Engineer will manage cross-organizational efforts required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.Responsibilities: Ensuring all changes are delivered to user while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systems Communicate release expectations across all impacted users Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed Follows established guidelines/proceduresREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required 5 years of project and/or release management experience Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and practice Superior organizational skills Effective analytical skills Advanced written and verbal communication General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office (expert level knowledge of Excel a plus) Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred Qualifications Advanced degree Demonstrated experience with process documentation Prior experience with supporting other complex projectsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
